E-Learning Tools Trove

The novel coronavirus pandemic has drastically affected the field of education, globally. Luckily, there are many tools and resources available online that were able to help us maintain the quality of education through facilitating the different methods used for teaching and learning.

There exist many applications that are not yet discovered by many, and getting started can be overwhelming, which is why we have created an extensive list of the most common and used online resources and applications based on your needs and priorities. This guide has been one of the Medical Education Taskforce (MET) committee’s recommendations in the aim of enhancing and facilitating each and everyone’s learning experience.

This guide aims to hopefully benefit all of AUB’s and non-AUB’s faculty members and students. It provides tools that can help enhance the teaching experience of professors and educators, in addition to students’ learning and education.

The resources are listed under three categories: Available at AUB, Free Resources, and Paid Resources. For technical support in setting up and accessing the resources, contact IT Service Desk at AUB: it.helpdesk@aub.edu.lb

This guide was prepared by Dr. Ola El Zein, former Head of Saab Medical Library and Mr. Hossein Hamam, from the Continuing Medical Education Office (CME).
