Turkish state archives holds over 100 million documents. You must register to use the online catalog. For information about the Archives in English, see Guide on the General Directorate of State Archives. Most of the material is in Turkish, but there is some Arabic and French. You can search two catalogues: the Republican Archive which "documents that 30 years passed from their process date, and which are pertaining to National Struggle, Governments of the Assembly and Republican Period, with historical, legal, administrative, political, economical, scientific and cultural content relative to Turkish state and national life" and the Ottoman Archive consisting of "documents pertaining to period from foundation of the Ottoman Empire to Kanunî Sultan Süleyman. Starting from Kanuni, document density is increasing time by time and it includes the period until date of 1922." A phrase search for Mustafa Kemal in the Ottoman Archive retrieves over 400 results.
