Lebanon Research Guide: Research Centers

National Council for Scientific Research is serving the scientific community in Lebanon covering all scientific disciplines. Its main objective is to encourage scientific research and support human resources development along the general scientific policies adopted by the government.

Industrial Research Institute is a Lebanese nonprofit institution. Its mission is to ensure an adequate service regarding technical and scientific support to the Lebanese industrialists and the national economy.

Lebanese Academy of Sciences is an independent and nonprofit institution. The ultimate goals of the ASL are to contribute directly to the growth, invigoration, and dissemination of the sciences in Lebanon.

The center carry out independent and scientific research into all aspects of Arab society and Arab unity.

Dirasat - The Arab Center for Law and Policy a “think-and-do-tank,” aims to develop practical and innovative solutions to these seemingly insurmountable challenges while mobilizing Arab-Palestinians in their quest for basic human rights, justice and recognition.

Institute for Palestine Studies    مؤسسة الدراسات الفلطنية is devoted exclusively to documentation, research, analysis and publication on Palestinian affairs and Arab-Israeli conflict.

The Institute facilitates networking and communication, while cultivating ties with national, regional, and international organizations and universities concerned with women’s and gender issues.
