To create a group click on the "New Library" icon and click on "New Group..."
This will take you to your Zotero web account where you can type the name of the group and choose the membership settings.
There are two types of groups:
- Private: created for specific individuals (small groups). If you plan to share files (e.g. article PDFs), the group MUST be private when created and not after creating it.
- Public: Anyone may create a public group, and you may search for existing public groups. NOTE: Public groups ONLY allow sharing of citations, not files (e.g. PDFs).
