Access to e-Books: Download e-Books

A] PDF download chapter by chapter:

Click on Table of Contents icon , then click on  Download PDF next to the chapter in question (depends on the number of pages allowed).

B] Download the whole book to read it on your device and make some annotations/highlighting if you follow the steps below:

• Create a free personal account on the site, and sign in.
• Download and install Adobe Digital Editions (ADE) on your device (not available for Kindle devices).
• Search for the book in question & click on the Download button
• Choose whether to Open with Adobe Digital Editions or Save file to open later.

On iOS and Android devices, use the Adobe Digital Editions app, which is free from the App Store and Google Play.

A free Adobe ID is also required to transfer the ebook to another device, but not if you’re just reading it on the same computer. 

Some e-books are ONE user at a time ONLY others are Unlimited User Access.

Downloaded multi-user titles are available for 14 days. Single-user titles are available for 7 days.

• Create a free My EBSCOhost account.
• Download and install Adobe Digital Editions (ADE) on your device (not available for Kindle devices)
• From the Result List, click the Full Download.
• Select a Checkout Period from the drop-down menu.
• Check the button confirming you have ADE downloaded.

You can transfer the E-book to your Adobe Digital Editions-compatible mobile device.
You can re-download the E-book from your "My Checkouts" section on the top of the page at any time during the checkout period.

If you get the message: "Sorry, this eBook is in use", it means the ebooks has been checked out by someone else.

You may place a Hold on the e-book. When it becomes available, you will be notified via email and the E-book will be added to the Checkouts area of your MyEBSCOhost account folder.

The e-Book downloaded will be available for 7 days.

After searching for a title, select "Show content I have access to" to limit the results to the books you can download.

After opening the title of interest, you may download the whole book PDF or chapter by chapter.

To read online and use the personalization features, create an account on the website and log in.

On the top left, uncheck “Include Preview-Only content” to prevent showing results the library has no access to.

A] Click on Download Book in PDF or Download Book in EPUB.

B] PDF download chapter by chapter by clicking on the PDF arrow icon next to each chapter.

Option to download all or several chapters at once is available: select the chapters & click on "Download PDFs" on the top left of the list.
