Welcome to the Druze History and Culture Guide

The Druze, or Al-Muwaḥḥidūn are an ethnoreligious group of Arab people found mainly in the Levant: Syria, Lebanon, Palestine, and Jordan, as well as many western and Latin American countries due to their vast immigration during the 19th century.

As an esoteric group, most of the Druze's religious practices are kept secret, although that did not prohibit many researchers from studying this aspect - among others - of the Druze's culture. This group's history was also the subject of intensive studies due to them playing a critically important role in shaping the history of the Levant, and continuing to play a significant political role till this day.

This guide aims to shed some light on our collection of literary works that studied the Druze society, traditions, history, and literature.
