To ensure that your research is discoverable by other researchers and hence to improve your research impact:

  • Use standardized versions of your affiliation address.

  • Create an online presence and increase your engagement by sharing information about your research through blogs, tweets, etc.

  • Create a profile and add your publication list to social networking sites for researchers such as Academia, ResearchGate, Mendeley, LinkedIn, Social Science Research Network (SSRN), etc.

  • Register for researcher IDs such as ORCID, Scopus Author Identifier, and Publons (ResearcherID) and keep your publication list up-to-date.

  • Deposit your work in AUB UL's Insitutional Repository.

  • Make supplemental material such as tables, datasets, filesets, and presentations available. Consult AUB UL's Data Services.

  • Collaborate with authors and researchers from other institutions and subject areas.

  • Consider publishing in open access journals.

  • List/link your publications on personal websites or AUB's webpage that are crawled by Google Scholar.
