It is very important to choose the appropriate format for your data, this will affect its reusability in the future. To ensure long term accessibility one should consider using:
1- Nonproprietary formats. Those are formats supported by more that one developer and can be accessed with different softwares. i.e. xml format.
2- Widely adopted and supported formats.
3- Formats with lossless data compression such as TIFF for images.
In the table below you can find the preferred formats and acceptable ones for textual, image, audio and video data. If your data is more complex, please contact us and we will be more then happy to advice you on what format to use.

Preferred .wav, .flac
Acceptable .aif, .lla, .ogg, .wav, .aac, .mp3, .ram, .wmv
