LIBCAT - Library Catalog: Home

A guide on how to use the Online Library Catalog to find books, theses, course reserves and other library materials, and on how to create an account allowing you to put items on hold, renew items online, and save searches.

What does LIBCAT search

LIBCAT houses all the resources that are physically available at the library. These resources include but not limited to:

  • Periodicals
  • Books
  • Photographs
  • Newspapers
  • Videos
  • Theses/Dissertations/Projects
  • Reference

 

Search LIBCAT

Keyword search will find words in titles, authors, subject headings, notes and other fields.

LILBCAT

LIBCAT is the AUB Libraries Online Catalog. It allows users to access the bibliographic information of the holdings of AUB libraries:

  1. Jafet Library
  2. Engineering & Architecture Library
  3. Saab Medical Library 
  4. Science & Agriculture Library.

 

LIBCAT does not provide access to articles of journals and magazines owned by the library (except for three AUB serial publications Berytus, al-Abhath, and Middle East Economic Papers).

How to Search LIBCAT

The catalog can be searched by using Basic Search, Advanced Search, Course Number, Instructor Name...
